MONTEBELLO, Los Angeles County — Montebello’s City Park at 1301 W. Whittier Boulevard includes pickleball and futsal courts, along with tennis, basketball and several other recreation facilities.

When can residents play pickleball?

The city’s posted schedule describes Saturday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m., and a shorter Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. window for drop-in pickleball. Special permits or leagues can affect actual court access.

Is futsal on the same schedule?

No. The municipal directory lists Friday futsal drop-in use from 6 to 9 p.m.. These hours should not be transferred to pickleball or the larger park.

What other facilities are nearby?

City Park also contains an outdoor amphitheater, a youth center, playgrounds, a skate park, the George Hensel Aquatic Center and a senior center. Each may have its own schedule and fees.

Montebello’s Recreation and Community Services Department lists (323) 887-4540 for questions, permits and facility availability. Some posted use hours could be modified by events, weather or maintenance.
