MONTEBELLO, Los Angeles County — November 2026. The November election includes separate Montebello City Council contests in Districts 1, 3, 4 and 5.
Initial official-sourced figures
District 1: Georgina Tamayo 1,693 (51.95%), Kimberly Cawthorne 896, Rafael Santoya 492, Shazia Hoq 178. District 3: Ana Torres 1,145 (57.28%), Marie Ledezma 625 and Elva Osorio 229. District 4 (short term): Danielle Romero 1,271 (54.81%) and Rafael Gutierrez 1,048 (45.19%). District 5: Ricardo Alonzo 1,161 (57.22%) and James Santana 868.
What the local result means
These are four distinct geographical contests, and District 4 fills a short term rather than a standard seat. The District 4 lead of 223 votes is a separate local race from the regular-term seats. The returns remain provisional and are not a declaration that anyone has already taken office.
Can the outcome change?
Yes. These figures are from the NBC Los Angeles live county election-results table after the November 3 vote. The page may refresh its data without showing the timestamp for each individual contest. The figures are therefore labeled a provisional snapshot, not a newly independently confirmed November 5 county bulletin. The county’s official canvass continues, and the final outcome requires certification.
